I am so excited to officially welcome you to She Speaks Power, a space dedicated to exploring modern feminism and amplifying women's voices. However you found this page, I am glad you are here.
The Spark Behind She Speaks Power
The idea for this blog started while I was working on a school essay analyzing how the Nazis used propaganda during the Holocaust. I chose to focus my essay specifically on how women were targeted and portrayed by the regime.
Through my research, I realized how gender stereotypes, language, and media can be weaponized against women. That research sparked the creation of She Speaks Power, a space to educate society about the past and modern women's rights issues.
The Blueprint
She Speaks Power won't just be doing long articles. Expect a mix of monthly deep-dive essays, infographics, mini posts, spotlights on trailblazing females, and resources. No matter the format, every time you read a post, you will walk away with three things: a deeper understanding of a historical event, a clearer perspective on modern events, and at least one practical way you can use your voice to create change (aka The Impact Checklist).
